Alpa jogs 3 times around a rectangular park of length 75 m and breadth 56 m. Raghu jogs 2 times around a square park having each side of length 64 m. Who covers less distance?

Perimeter of rectangular park= 2(l+b)

=2(75+56)

=262m

so distant cover by Alpa = 3× 262

=786m

and distance cover by Raghu

=2× (perimeter of square)

=2×(4×side)

=2×(4×64)

=512m

so by comparing the distance covered by Alpha and Raghu, Raghu covered less distance.

CA is perpendicular to AP and CB is perpendicular to BP

Again AC = BC = 4 (radius of the circle)

Also AP = PB = (Tangents from point P)

So, BPAC is a square.

=> AP = PB = BC = CA = 4 cm

So, length of tangents are 4 cm each
