Heya !!!
P(X) = 2X²-4X+5
Here,
A = 2 , B = -4 and C = 5
Sum of zeroes = -B/A
Alpha + Beta = -(-4)/2
Alpha + Beta = 2 ---------(1)
And,
Product of zeroes = C/A
Alpha × Beta = 5/2 --------(2)
Therefore,
1/(Alpha)² + 1/ (Beta)²
=> (Beta)² + (Alpha)² / ( Alpha)² (Beta)²
=> (Alpha + Beta)²-2Alphabeta/( Alpha ×Beta)²
=> ( 2)² - 2 × 5/2/ ( 5/2)²
=> 4 - 5 / 25 / 4
=> -1/25/4 /1
=> -1 / 25 × 1/4
=> -1/100
