GOOD MORNING!!

FOR A QUADRATIC EQUATION SAY

ax² + bx + c = 0

Alfa + Beta = -b/a

And

Alfa × Beta = c/a

=>

Alfa × 1/Alfa = ( k - 4 )/ 4

=>

1 = ( k - 4 )/4

=>

k - 4 = 4

=>

k = 8.
