\huge\bold{Answer:-}

Given:-

  • The measure of the exterior angle of a triangle is 80°

  • The interior opposite angles are in the ratio 5:3

To Find :-

  • The measure of the two opposite interior angles .

Solution:-

let, the angles are in the ratio be 5x , 3x .

The measure of tbe exterior angle is 80°

We know,

The exterior angles of a triangle is equal to the sum of the two opposite interior angles .

Now,

ATQ

➾ 5x + 3x = 80°

➾ 8x = 80°

➾ x = \dfrac{80°}{8}

➾ x = 10°

As , the value of x is 10°

Now, putting the value of x in 5x , 3x we get -

5x = ( 5 × 10 ) ° = 50°

3x = ( 3 × 10 ) ° = 30°

Therefore, the value of two interior opposite angles are 50°, 30°
