At the end of first year

10% workers removed

So 90% left

90% of 4000 = 3600

At the end of Second year 5% of those working at that time were retrenched

So 95% of 3600 left

= 95 × 36 = 3420

At the end of 3 rd year

no of workers increased by 15%

So total workers would be 115% of 3420

= 115 × 34.2 = 3933

So 3933 workers are there during 4 th year
