A surge of violence during the French Revolution incited by the rivalry between two opposing political forces was the reign of terror.

• The revolution began in the year 1789, with an assault on the infamous prison, of the Bastille. Reigh of terror is a portrayal of events of the French Revolution, such as the storming of the Bastille, and the senseless fury of the mob.
• Another feature was the collection of how high taxes which was the dictatorship of the French aristocracy. Unjust rules and disrespect for poor people's well-being created anger among the commons which ultimately erupted in revolution.
• One of the enduring features was the guillotine. It was a weapon made to behead the victims. It represented how political anarchy is institutionalized. Killing became emotionless and automatic with the guillotine and human life became heap.
• Moreover, previously people were called as Sir and Madame but now, everyone was referred to as citiyon and citiyens.
