Disadvantages of coal are : -

(1) Burning of coal can increase the amount of carbon dioxide gas.

(2) It can increase many harmful and poisonous gas. It can cause breathing problems.

(3) It is exhaustible. It can cause pollution.

(4) It can cause greenhouse effect.
