Although fish is not easily an available as staple crops it is a valued product. It is because; it is used by humans in many ways. First well known use of fish is as food. They are highly nutritious food item to be added in the balanced diet. Secondly, they are used in oil production as it has high content of fatty acids.  

Fishes are also imported and exported in business which makes them one of the most valued products. In case of sharks, its skin has high value and can be sold for huge amount.
