I disagree with this completely .
- Parks make the aesthetic value of the environment they are in and thus are important .
- Parks are used for resting and thus , if people don't have at least somewhere to rest , they shall be overtaken by stress due to long day work.
- Parks are home to wild animals , the wild animals bring revenue to the government .
- Parks harbor many species of indigenous tress hence encroaching them will lead to loss.

You can not overlook these facts. Think about the population growth and the resources we have left. Ultimately, we always know where this issue is going.
