although most of the things around us are not luminous ,we see them when light shines on them​

Most of the objects we see, such as cars, clouds or even the Moon, are not luminous; it is just that they reflect sunlight. When light falls on an opaque object, it is reflected by the object and the light enters our eyes. Thus, we are able to see non luminous objects.
