although silver is a good conductor of electricity why it is not used for making Electrical wires? which metal replaces At in making electrical wire?

Hey!!
we know that silver is a good conductor of electricity bt we don't use it for making wires because it is so expencive...
we use mostly copper metal for making wires ....
