The lines that show that glow worm though being tinier than the nightingale, was equal to the bird are:

For 'twas the self-same power divine

Taught you to sing, and me to shine,  

That you with music, I with light,

Might beautify and cheer the night.'

In these lines, the glow-worm is telling the nightingale that it should not eat it as it had been created by the same God Who had created it.
