although water pollution is bad, it does not actually cause anyone to die. justify the given statement with suitable example..?

When the polluted water hits our body, our kidneys begin to work harder to filter and extract the dirt. Then the dirt is excreted out the body. Although when we consume contaminated good, the stomach liquids upset our stomach. I think that is probably why the polluted liquid doesn't kill us.

water pollution never kills people instantly. but it does kills people in a slow process. say, when a locality has polluted water the people living in and around that locality are affected by jaundice (it's a deadly disease if not properly treated). water polluted with inorganic compounds are more likely to cause cancer.
water is main source for mankind to survive. when that water is polluted the next generation mankind are prone to disorder and disabilities.
