Answer:

LET BASE OF TRIANGLE BE =x

THEREFORE

     ALTITUDE=2x+4         HYPOTENUSE=6+2x

         BY PYTHAGORAS THEOREM

            ALTITUDE²+BASE²=HYPOTENUSE²

            ( 2x+4)²+x²=(6+2x)²

           4x²+16+16x+x²=36+4x²+24x                          as (a+b)²=a²+b²+2ab

           4x²-4x²+x²+16x-24x+16-36=0

           x²-8x-20=0

           x²-10x+2x-20=0

          x(x-10)+2(x-10)=0

          (x+2)(x-10)=0

          so   x=-2,10

        as length cant be negetive

        therefore x=10

    therefore base=10 units    altitude=2*10+4=24 units

                          hypotenuse=6+2*10=26 units
