Alumina is extracted from Bauxite Al2O3.2H2O by Bayer's Process(in a chemical method).......Why can't Bauxite be only ignited to produce Pure alumina by removing water of crystallization???

Now coming to your question, the reason why we can't simply turn bauxite ore to alumina because aluminium forms a really stable compound with oxygen therefore ordinary methods can't be used to concentrate alumina from bauxite ore.
