Aluminium is highly reactive metal, it is used for make utensils for cooking because it has an thin layer of aluminium oxide on its surface that is why it's also known as good conductor of heat. It is also used for making kalloys, metallic paints, aluminium foil for packaging etc. And also used for making electrical wires and cables because it is good conductor of electricity.
