ALUMINIUM DEVLOPS A PROTECTIVE LAYER OF THE ALUMINIUM OXIDE BY SLOWLY REACTING WIGH THE O2 IN NATURE. AFTER THIS LAYER FORMATION AIR CAN'T REACT WITH ALUMINIUM PRESENT HENCE THERE IS LESS CORROSION.
