Heya mate☺

 \pink{ \huge{Reducing \: agent}}

♟Aluminum is called a reducing agent because it has a capacity to lose electrons.Metals having 1,2or 3 electrons in the outermost orbit have a tendency to lose electrons rather than gaining.

So,it loses 3 electrons and thus is called a reducing agent.
