aluminium is used for making cooking utensils and does not burn on heating.but if we use a wooden utensil,it starts to burn.why

because aluminium is a metal but a wood is fuel

Aluminum is used for making of cooking utensils and does not burn on heating because they conduct heat and transfer it to the food. In case of wooden utensils they may catch fire and burn, due to its low calorific value of wood.
