aluminium is used for making cooking utensils and does not butrn on heating.but if we use a wooden utensil,it starts to burn.why

Al is a metal whereas wood is a organic substance made up of non metal . Due to variation in their physical as well as chemical properties Al conductes heat and transfer it into food but wood itself absorb heat and start burning.
