Aluminium occurs in combined state, whereas gold is
found in free state in nature. Why?

Aluminum is a reactive metal as compared to gold due to which it react in its ore due to which we don't get it in Free state instead we get it in combined state whereas

gold is highly non reactive element (metal) due to which it don't get reacted with any substances in its ore

hence,

we get gold in Free state whereas Aluminum in combined state.
