  • The reaction is-
  • 3FeSO_4+2Al\rightarrow Al_2(SO_4)_3+3Fe
  • Here 3 moles of ferrous sulphate reacts with 2 moles of aluminium to produce 1 mole of aluminium sulphate along with iron.
  • Aluminum sulphate is a colorless salt which is usd to purify water.
