Aluminum hydroxide does not dissociate in aqueous solution, even then it is considered a triacidic base. Why?

because there is a large force of attaraction between aluminium and hydroxyl ion

Mandy1012: but why "ALUMINUM IS CONSIDERED A TRIBASIC" if it doesn't dissociate in aqueous solution??
Mandy1012: *triacidic base
Ranu1111: sorry fot the delay ..I was having my dinner........because it has basic properties and contains three hydroxyl ions
Mandy1012: Disturbing u again..But I am still not satisfied, please explain-----Acidity of a base is the number of hydroxyl ions produced by dissociation of one molecule of a base. But Aluminum doesn't dissociates, so how is it considered a triacidic base..
