Answer:

I.E(ionization energy) is the energy required to remove valance electron from an atom.Generally its measured in eV(electron volt).

While in SI UNITS its measured in J(Joules)

When we remove the first electron by providing first I.E ,then it will be more difficult to remove one more electron by providing Second I.E.

Its because of the attraction of electron towards nucleus. The more the closer electron gets towards nucleus, nuclear attraction increases(its obvious that, the Second electron(Second outermost electron) which is removed will be much closer to nucles compared to outermost valance electron).

This attraction don't allow electron to be removed .

Hence, more energy must be provided to remove electron.

THEREFORE,we can conclude that

I.E_{1}>I.E_{2}>I.E_{3}.........

HOPE THAT HELPS!!
