Am electric iron of resistance 20 ohm takes a current of 5A.calculate the heat developed in 30s.

Resistance, R = 20 ohm
Time, t = 30s

We know that, Heat developed, H = I^2Rt
= 25 × 20 ×30
= 15000 J
= 15000/1000 kJ
= 15 kJ
