I've always had values, right from below five years of age. Many appear at odds with life as my family lived it.

  • Fairness. All humans seem to drink this concept in with their mothers milk. Unfortunately fairness in anything is rare. I think sport is popular because great effort goes into making sports ‘fair’. Or as fair a competition as can be achieved.
  • Kindness. There's very little kindness taught in families. I like the pay it forward concept as this truly inspires some people to be kind.
  • Mental Strength. Get this how you can, from Qui Gong, from meditation, from calling on your ancestors, from the support of a God or the Universe.
  • The Universe is ours. Very clear to me from a young age that the universe is within and without ourselves. It is timeless.
  • Moderation in all things, especially moderation.
