Am i solving it wrong? Question is to find additive inverse.

Yes. The process is wrong.

To find additive inverse of a number. we have to multiply the numerator or denominator by -1 .

we should not multiply both the numerator & denominator by -1

so the additive inverse of 2/3 is

=> 2/3 × (-1)

=> -2/3.
