1. Total work =90mens ×20days =1800 unit
work done in 5 days = 90mens × 5days = 450unit
Remaining work = 1800 - 450 = 1350unit
1350 work should done in 10 days
(90+x) mens × 10 days =1350 unit
(90+x) = 135
x = 45men extra required for digging the well in 10 days.
2. work done by 22 mens in two days = 2/ 17
Remaining work is 1 - 2/17 = 15/17 work have to be done in 10 days.
so from unitary method we get 22× 15/ 10 = 33.
