1) The reason why nosebleed occurs at high altitudes is because the atmospheric pressure is low at high altitudes, but the pressure inside the human body does not change and so the excess pressure inside the body compared to the atmospheric pressure, causes nose bleeding.
2) Like liquids, air, too, has weight. This weight exerts a thrust on earth.
3) Shoulder bags (I think it's bags??) are provided with broad straps because it has larger surface area than the thin strap and hence the pressure exerted on the shoulder becomes less than the thin strap.
4) They have sharp edges as they have a small area of contact and so the pressure applied by a force is more. We know this due to the rule, decrease in area increases the pressure.
5) As pointed heels of footwear exert more pressure on the ground than sandals, the woman wearing sandals will feel more comfortable.
