Answer:

The difference between 2 parts of his salary is "0"

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that Aman salary is 8600

the salary was invested in two parts

on 1st part he got interest at  15% per annum, in 4 years

on 2nd part he got interest at 20% per annum, in 3 years

and it is given that the interests on both parts are equal

let the two parts are  a, b and the interests are a_{1} and b_{1} respectively

interest on first part  a, a_{1} =  \frac{PTR}{100}      [ P =a, T= 4 years, R =15 ]

  a_{1} =  \frac{a(4)(15)}{100} = \frac{60a}{100} =\frac{6a}{10} = \frac{3a}{5}

interest on second part b, b_{1} = \frac{PTR}{100}        [ P=b , T=3 years, R=20%]

 b_{1} = \frac{b(20)(3)}{100} = \frac{60b}{100} = \frac{6b}{10} = \frac{3b}{5}

∵ both interests on a and b are same a_{1} =b_{1}

                                                    ⇒ \frac{3a}{5} = \frac{3b}{5}

                                                    ⇒ a =b

                                                    ⇒  a-b =0

the difference between two parts that he invested is zero
