Aman has tractor . The sum of radii of two wheels of the tractor is 98 cm and the difference of their circumference is 176 cm . Find the diameter of the wheels .

Let radius of first wheel=x
And radius of second wheel=98-x(sum of the two radies=98m)
According to question
2pieR-2pier=176
2pie(98-x)-2pie(x)=176
2pie(98-x)-(x)=176
2pie(98-x-x)=176
2pie(98-2x)=176
2×22/7(98-2x)=176
44/7×2(49-x)=176
88/7(49-x)=176
49-x=176×7/88
49-x=14
-x=14-49
-x=-35=35
sor=35m sod=2r=2×35=70m
andR=98-35=63m soD=2×R=63×2=126m

circumference of wheel 2 =  2\pi R

The difference of their circumference is 176 cm

So, 2\pi R-2 \pi r=176

2\pi (R-r)=176

2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times (R-r)=176

(R-r)=176 \times \frac{7}{2 \times 22}

(R-r)=28 ---1

We are given that The sum of radii of two wheels of the tractor is 98 cm

So, R+r=98 ---2

Add 1 and 2

R+r+R-r=98+28

2R=126

R = 63

So, Diameter of Wheel 2 =2R = 2(63)=126 cm

Now to find the value of r

R+r=98

63+r=98

r=98-63

r=35

So, Diameter of Wheel 1 =2r = 2(35)=70 cm
