Let the son's age be x
Then Aman's age=3x

Ten years ago:
son age =x-10
Aman's age=3x-10

According to question :
3x-10=5(x-10)
3x-10=5x-50
5x-3x=50-10
2x=40
x=20

son's age =20
aman's age=60

Aman's present age is 60 and his son's present age is 20.

Let Aman's present age be x and his son's present age be y

Aman's age is three times his son's age
Therefore x = 3y

Ten years ago Aman was five times his son's age
10 years back Aman's age was x-10
10 years back Aman's son's age was y-10
Therefore x-10 = 5(y-10)
x - 10 = 5y - 50

replace x = 3y
Therefore 3y - 10 = 5y - 50
Therefore 2y = 40
Therefore y = 20

Replacing y = 20 in x = 3y
x = 3
× 20
x = 60

Hence Aman's age is 60 and Aman's son's age is 20.
