Let present age of aman's son = x
Then, present age of aman = 3x

-----------------------------------------
According to the question :

Ten years ago, aman's age was 5 times of his son's age,

(3x - 10) = 5(x - 10)

=> 3x - 10 = 5x - 50

=> 50 - 10 = 5x - 3x

=> 40 = 2x

=> 20 = x

Hence, present age of aman's son is 20 years

And present age of aman is 3(20) = 60 years

HEY YOUR ANSWER IS .....

Let the present age of Aman = x years .

Let the age of his son = y years .

So ,

X = 3Y

So ,

X - 3y = 0 ___(1)

And ,

Ten years ago ,

Aman's age = X - 10 years ,

And ,

His sons age = Y - 10 years .

So ,

X - 10 = 5 ( Y - 10 )

So ,

X - 10 = 5Y - 50

So ,
-10+50=5Y-X

So ,
5y - x = 40 years .

As x = 3y

So ,

5y - 3y = 40

So ,

2y = 40

So ,

y = 20 years

So the age of son = 20 years .

As 3y = x

So ,

3(20)= x

So ,

X = 60 years .

So the age of Aman = 60 years .
