Aman's father is 29 years youn ger than aman's grandfather and aman's father is 26 years elder than aman .If their sum is 135,find their present ages.

Given :- Aman's father is 29 years youn ger than aman's grandfather and aman's father is 26 years elder than aman. And sum of their ages is 135.

To find :- Their present ages.

Salutation :-

Let , the present age of aman be x years

Then the age of his father be ( x + 26 ) years

And , the age of his grandfather be ( x + 26 + 29 ) years = ( x + 55 ) years

Therefore acc to the question ,

x + ( x + 26 ) + ( x + 55 ) = 135 [ • Sum if their ages is 135 ]

x + x + 26 + x + 55 = 135

3x + 81 = 135

3x = 135 - 81

3x = 54

x = 54 / 3

x = 18

•°• The present age of aman ( x ) is 18 years

The present age of his father is ( x + 26 ) = 18 + 26 = 44 years

The present age of his grandfather is ( x + 55 ) = 18 + 55 = 73 years
