Aman saw a sudden rise in electricity bill for month of January He did survey of electronic equipment and found the heater was used for longer time the power of heater was 18000watts .(a)convert the power of heater into kw if used. For one hour what is its work done (b) convert one kWh into joules

(a). As we know KW=w/1000

So, power off the heater in kilowatts will be
18Kw

Now, as we know power is equals to work done per unit time
So, work done will be equals to power multiplied by time
Work done for one hour=(Pxt)
W=18000 watt x(60x60) seconds
W=18000 J/s x3600 s
W=64800000 J
W=64800 KJ
