Selling price of both the cycles = Rs. 2376

On one, he gains 10%
gain % =  \frac{SP-CP}{CP} \times 100

\Rightarrow 10= \frac{2376-CP}{CP} \times 100 \\\\\Rightarrow  \frac{10}{100} = \frac{2376-CP}{CP}\\\\\Rightarrow 0.1 \times CP=2376-CP\\\\\Rightarrow 1.1CP = 2376\\\\ \Rightarrow CP =  \frac{2376}{1.1}= Rs.\ 2160

On another one, he loses 10%
loss% =  \frac{CP-SP}{CP} \times 100
Similarly find out the cost price in this case.

CP =  \frac{SP}{100-loss} \times 100= \frac{2376}{100-10} \times 100= \frac{2376}{90} \times 100=Rs. 2640

Total cost price = 2160+2640 = Rs. 4800
Total selling price = 2376 × 2 = Rs. 4752
Loss = 4800 - 4752 = Rs 48

Loss % = (48 / 4800 ) × 100 = 1%
Loss is 1%.
