WKT,

=>loss% = loss/C.P × 100

Let the C.P. be 'x'

loss = 25% of CP

loss = 25% of x

=> loss = 25/100*x

=> loss = 1/4 = x/4

Now WKT,

=> loss = Cp-SP

=> x/4 = x - 16,575

=> 16,575 = x-(x/4)

=> x-(x/4) = 16575

=> (4x-1x)/4 = 16575

=> 3x/4 = 16575

=> 3x = 16575 × 4

=> 3x = 66300

=> x = 66300/3

=> x = Rs. 22100

Therefore the CP of the scooter is Rs. 22100
