Aman takes 2 hours more than Nishant to cover a distance of 30 km. If aman doubles his speed he would take 1 hour less than Nishant. Find their speed of walking??​

From the two equations, we get the ratio between both their speeds-

Let N be the initial speed of Nishant and A be the initial speed of Aman

We get- N: A= 3:2 ( Ratio of the time will be just the opposite, which is 2: 3)

Since originally Aman takes two hours more than Nishant, it can be stated that,

The difference in their time= 2 hours

So 1 unit = 2 hours

So, 3 units= 6 hours ( Aman)

So, 2 units= 4 hours ( Nishant)

Now, as we know,

Speed = Distance/Time

For Aman, Speed = 30/6 = 5 km/hour

For Nishant, Speed = 30/4 = 7.5 km/hour
