when we read the poem we conclude that Amanda is a girl who loves freedom he wants to live her life in peace where no humans can come so when her mother is commanding her she lost in her imaginations because that was the only thing she loves and igore her mother she imagins herself as a orphan so that she can move on streets freely she wants to be a rupenzal so that she can live in a castle where no humans can came she thinking that she doesn't need a prince for him that thing tells us that she hate humans she wants to be a mermaid which symbolises the freedom of hers
