Length of the racetrack is 850 m.
Let us say, the length of the racetrack is X m.
Now let's consider two cases.
a) When Amar finishes the race.
b) When Akbar finishes the race.
When Akbar finishes the race:
When he finishes the race he would be 300 m ahead of Antony.
Let's say he takes t1 time to finish the race.
Hence,
Hence , Akbar's speed = (x-300)/X
Now, When Amar finishes the race,
Akbar would have run (x-160) m
Antony would have run (x-400) m
At this point, Akbar's speed= (x-400)/(x-160)
Equating both equations, we get
(x-400)/(x-160)=(x-300)/X
Solving we get, X= 850 m
