Amar and raju have coloured pencils.The number of pencils with amar is 6 more than twice number of pencils that raju has.Find the number of pencils with amar when raju has 7 pencils

No. Of pencils Amar has = 2*no.of pencils with Raju + 6

=2*7+6

=20(answer)

Hey mate,
here is given Raju has 7 pencils & Amar has 6 more than the twice the no. of pencils that the Raju has.
Therefore,
2x + 6 (x is the no. of pencils that the Raju has)
2* 7 + 6
14+6
20 pencils.
Therefore, Amar has 20 pencils.
