Step-by-step explanation:

1 dozen = 7.20 rs

4 dozen pencil cost = 4×7.20

=28.80

1 dozen is equal to 12

so 4 dozen value = 4×12=48

sold them each 20 paiSe

so selling price = 20×48=960 paise= 9.60rs

here cost price is more then selling price so we get loss.

loss= cost price -selling price

28.80-9.60=19.20rs

loss \: percentage  = \frac{loss}{cost \: price}  \times 100

 \frac{19.20}{28.80}  \times 100

loss percentage=66.66%
