AMD Ryzen 5 is the better processor.
AMD Rizen 5 is the better processor as compared to Intel I7 10 Gen because in terms of performance, for the first time in 2020, AMD Ryzen 5 is better than I7. If you are buying a laptop, I would suggest you to go with AMD.

Both Ryzen 5 4600H and i7 10750H are highly capable 6 core 12 thread parts from team red and blue.
To say which is better is a complicated thing, overall I consider both of them equally good but my preference will be Ryzen
How do they compare?
Well
- The 4600H is absolutely significantly ahead in majority productivity tasks because of its more stable all core boost. Intel surely falls behind in this one. I'd go with Ryzen if my make use it that.
- i7 is slightly ahead on an average in gaming benchmarks give its high boost clocks. Altho overall difference isn't that big and games are becoming more multicore dependent. Definitely prefer Intel for gaming tho unless you're stream
- Power usage, heat output and price for Ryzen is better, Ryzen is the mid tier product so its usually priced lower than and Ryzen being on 7nm process(vs 14nm++++ for Intel) is more power efficient too.
- In terms of System stability and features, Intel wins. Intel surely has more polished and stable drivers and more supported features like thunderbolt support with it.
