Given :-

Find :-

• Age of Ameen & His Father

Explanation

Let,

• Age of Ameen = x years
• Age of his father = y years

According to question

Case 1.

==> x = 1/5 × y

==> 5x - y = 0____________(1)

Case 2.

==> (x + 6) = 1/3 × (y + 6)

==> 3x + 18 = (y + 6)

==> 3x - y = 6 - 18

==> 3x - y = -12 ____________(2)

Subtract equ(1) & equ(2)

==> 5x - 3x - y + y = 12

==> 2x = 12

==> x = 12/2

==> x = 6

Keep in equ(1)

==> 5 × 6 - y = 0

==> y = 30

Hence

• Age of Ameen =6 years
• Age of his father = 30 years
