Amino acids may be acidic ,alkaline or neutral how does this happen what are essential nd non essential amino acids

Amino acids may be acidic, basic or neutral depending upon the relative number of amino and carboxyl group present in their molecule.Equal number of amino and carboxyl groups makes it neutral, more amino group means basic and more carboxylic group means acidic amino acid.
