⇒ 74 = 2(l + 14)

⇒ 74 = 2l + 28

⇒ 74 - 28 = 2l

⇒ 46 = 2l

⇒ 46/2 = l

⇒ 23 = l

∴ Length = 23 m.

Length of the rectangular plot is 23 m.

LHS :

RHS :

⇒ 2(23 + 14)

⇒ 2(37)

⇒ 2 × 37

⇒ 74
