Given that their sum of ages is 47...
X + X + 4 + X - 2 = 47
3X + 2 = 47
3X = 47 - 2
X = 45/3
X = 15
Age of priya = 15
Age of amirah =15+4 = 19
Age of shirley = 15 - 2= 13
