Answer:

Amit has made a better sale than Sumit.

Step-by-step explanation:

Profit = Selling price - Cost price

i) The Cost price of Amit's is Rs.18,00,000

The Selling price of Amit's house is Rs.20,00,000

So profit gained by Amit is Rs.20,00,000 - Rs.18,00,000 = Rs.2,00,000

ii) The Cost price of Sumit's is Rs.18,00,000

The Selling price of Sumit's house is Rs.19,80,000

So, profit gained by Amit is Rs.19,80,000 - Rs.18,00,000 = Rs.1,80,000

As, Profit Gained by Amit is greater than Profit Gained by Sumit

Therefore, Amit has made a better sale than Sumith

Thank you
