The number of cricket cards given by Amit to Chetan is 4/9 of the number of cards Amit had

Given : Amit had x cricket cards.

The number of cricket cards of Bhumi is 2/3 of the number of cards of Amit.

Chetan does not have any card.

Amit and Bhumi gave some cards to Chetan.

They all have the same number of cards.

To Find : The number of cricket cards given by Amit to Chetan

Solution:

Here it is given that Amit had x cricket cards.

Since the number of cricket cards of Bhumi is 2/3 of the number of cards of Amit.

Number of cricket cards of the Bhumi = 2x/3

Total Cricket Cards of Amit and Bhumi

\displaystyle \sf{  = x +  \frac{2x}{3}  }

\displaystyle \sf{  =  \frac{3x + 2x}{3}  }

\displaystyle \sf{  =  \frac{5x}{3}  }

After giving some cards to Chetan from Amit and Bhumi all three have the same number of cards

The number of cards each has

\displaystyle \sf{  =  \frac{1}{3}  \times  \frac{5x}{3}  }

\displaystyle \sf{  = \frac{5x}{9}  }

So the number of cricket cards given by Amit to Chetan

\displaystyle \sf{  =x -   \frac{5x}{9}  }

\displaystyle \sf{  =  \frac{9x - 5x}{9}  }

\displaystyle \sf{  =  \frac{4x}{9}  }

\displaystyle \sf{  = \frac{4}{9}.x  }

= 4/9 × Number of cards with Amit had
