• Let the age of Son be x years
• Age of Amit = (x + 24) years

Solution:-

After 11 years

Age of Son = (x + 11) years

Age of Amit = (x + 11 + 24) = (x + 35) years

ATQ,

Age of Amit will be 3 times as the age of his son after 11 years. Hence,

3(x + 11) = x + 35

=> 3x + 33 = x + 35

=> 3x - x = 35 - 33

=> 2x = 2

=> x = 2/2

=> x = 1

Now,

Age of son = x = 1 years

Now,

As we are asked to find the age of son after 2 years from the present.

After 2 years,

Age of son = x + 2 = 1 + 2 = 3 years

Therefore Age of son 2 years from the present will be 3 years.
